VIDEO: Me speaking at Arizona Storytellers
In July I participated in the Arizona Storytellers. I told a 5 minute story about my fight to save the Sahara Inn downtown and why I love Phoenix history.
It was like doing stand up, but not really since I’m not a stand up comedian. I’m a storyteller, so I felt comfortable in front of the packed house at Beckett’s Table in Phoenix. I had a wonderful time and was happy I could participate.
From their website:
We founded Arizona Storytellers because we understand the power of stories. They are the memories we create, the history we share. Stories are the essence of human connection. This project, a collaboration with South Mountain Community College and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University, is designed to showcase the stories of a land like no place else. This is a place to share your story: Create and compile your own video story, with our help, and you can join this tribute to Arizona. And this is a place to experience those stories: For one year — Feb. 14, 2011 to Feb. 14, 2012 –- the site will highlight a new story from an Arizonan.
They did a terrific job with the production of this video by adding images and filming from a lot of angles. I’m very impressed. I thought it would just be a single, front shot of me speaking. But they did a lot more and it rocks. You can see the video here.

Hello, I saw the video and it’s true: they did a terrific job with the production.
Regards,
John from Hotmail Adictos.
Thank you! I was so surprised when I saw it. I had no idea there would be multiple camera angles and pictures of what I was speaking about. They did a great job!
Great story Seth! Do you mind if I share the video on my blog too?
Thank you! Please post anywhere you’d like.
